Kerry Kelly will teach a V. Waltz workshop at the Georgetown Rec center on the Friday evening before the dance. Come learn how to turn left, turn right, and how to connect those two patterns together for this fun, fun whirling dervish of a dance. Workshop will be in the MultiPurpose Room at the Recreation Center, 7:00-8:30 pm, Friday 10/19. Cost is Two Yellow tickets. *Explanation of yellow tickets below. (No need to be a member of the Rec Center for any of the dance classes offered there. No partner ever required)
Quick explanation of the yellow ticket system at the Rec Center. Yellow Tickets are good for a host of "fee-based" classes, not just Kerry's dance classes. Prices vary slightly depending on whether or not you are a resident of Georgetown and whether you buy one at a time, 4 at a time or 10 at a time. One ticket: Resident $5, non-Resident $8 Four tickets: Resident $15, non-Resident $25 10 tickets: Resident $35, Non-Resident $45 So, if you are a resident and buy a 10-pass, either the V Waltz workshop or a Hustle class would cost only $7 per person. What a deal! (Whew. Sounds complicated)
