USA Dance Georgetown Social Dance
Saturday, October 19, 2024, 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
A group lesson in Swing will be taught by Crystal Pablo from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., followed by a mix of Ballroom, Latin, Swing, and a touch of Country. Join us for a fun evening including Door Prizes and maybe even a Line Dance!. The dance is beginner friendly and no partner is necessary.
Flash lessons will be offered to beginner dancers.Wear snug and comfy shoes that glide. Don't have any? Wear socks or apply duct tape to your soles.
COVID: Because we want our dancers to feel comfortable, we're offering masks and hand sanitizer. Name tags will either have a red, green, or yellow dot. Yellow means "I will only dance if we wear masks", Red means I'll dance with my partner only", and green means "I am free to dance with anyone". Masks are encouraged but not required.
CRYSTAL PABLO
Crystal is a Texas native. She began her dance training at the age of 6, which ultimately led her to a professional ballroom dance career. While teaching ballroom for over 16 years, she has received numerous top teacher awards and has coached students to receive multiple awards in pro-am Latin & Smooth dance competitions around the US. Crystal has managed multiple ballroom studios in Texas and has trained staff and students of all levels. With her dance and nursing background, she deepened her kinesthetic knowledge by acquiring a comprehensive Pilates & Lagree fitness certifications. Dance and movement has been a constant in her life; being an instructor grounds her both mentally and physically. From teaching private lessons to choreographing large groups, she will always bring an exciting energy to class and push you to show up as your best self!
